Spring is near...

I can feel it. Maybe it's the weather? (I know, I know, there is still more winter to come...)

But I tell you, I can FEEL it.
My natural person is organized. I like clean. or neat rather. I like order. Everything in it's place. I love to purge.....

But there is something about spring. I think it gets everyone.
You want to clean those cupboards. Throw out old clothes. Wash the walls....

Anyone with me??

Well today I just FEEL it. I have a ton of laundry. (thanks to a few days of flu, a few days of vacation, and then upon return our toilet overflowed sending ALL the towels downstairs....), so I've been running the laundry all day...but I want to CLEAN. PURGE. --Pull out drawers, take off the bedding and flip the mattresses, wash the baseboards--..ooooohhhhh do I have a list!!

Spring is coming!!!!!!!!

P.s. For all who know me, you will understand that this means my annual "makeup-cleanout". I hope to do this in the next few weeks. If anyone wants, or knows of someone who may need or like, some nice, slightly used makeup, please let me know. {(You know I'm clean-no diseases!!lol) I believe all you need to do is clean it with a bit of alcohol (yes Mo??).} Just leave me a comment or email me. THANKS!

Shaun and I just came inside from a walk. SPRING IS COMING! The snow is melting and water is pouring into the drains making wonderful aquatic sounds, the birds are chirping away and it just seems to SMELL different?!
I even have the "Spring Cleaning Bug" and had a great time cleaning and purging for 3 hours! (Anyone want a painted pink book shelf, it is a inexpensive one...not great quality?)

I LOVE SPRING!!!

small to medium about 32 inches high, 37 inches long. It used to be in Tirzah's room...now it is in the Garage.

Yes Amy Alcohol is the be all end all sterilizer.
After all they even use it before lethal injection.
Sorry kind of a dark comment but I often wonder why?
That's another subject,as I think strange things sometimes.
I just purged my cosmetics as well for the teens next door.
If you find that you can't get rid of all of it you can always donate it to the women's shelter 3 oaks along with clothing etc....
As for spring cleaning I think that's the only thing Steve prays for is to see me holding a vaccuum, you see I would rather mow the lawn.
Strange yet true......

Wanted to be included in the make-up but just as I was to type it... I was reminded of the season God has me in of no personal hand-me-downs. I am wondering when this season will come to a close... I know it's not yet.

I love to clean and purge. My Mother gets horrified at what I will discard. My thoughts are why use energy to clean around stuff you're not using... If in doubt - PITCH it out!!!

Happy cleaning Amy.

My mom TAUGHT me to clean and purge! I've already started spring cleaning ... kitchen cupboards have been emptied, wiped clean and only the things I need are back there. This week I took apart two ceiling fans, cleaned every part and put them all back together, washed all the pillows and curtains in the kitchen and family room and cleaned the top of the fridge. I WANT to paint, but am waiting until I can open the windows while I do it.

I started my slow purge process as March break approached....the girls' closets always need the most purging as they grow so fast and get so picky about what they will and won't wear...I get tired of the lack of space, so I pack it up and send it out.
Over the next while, i am hoping to overhaul the entire house and storage.
